Virtual Private Networks (VPNs)

A VPN is a virtual private network that connects a remote network or user to the main company server, using secure encrypted tunnels through the internet.  VPNs are ideally used for clients travelling, and on the go, using public access points where internet is provided when on the road. This can be problematic, by exposing the client’s data to an environment of unknown users on one network, leaving them potentially vulnerable.  VPN’s are utilized through software installed locally on a computer to be accessed.  A VPN also depends on the ISP for stability and configuration.

Inflexis Identity Solutions (Biometric Encryption Security Systems) can be implemented in conjunction with a VPN, by adding an extra level of authentication and security, or also serve as an alternative solution entirely.  Our solutions do not depend on an ISP to be authenticated or transported which eliminates the complexity of a VPN having to run correctly.
